Top 5 Wednesday- My Favourite Jokesters

Do you want to guess where I’m writing today’s post? Go on. Guess. Okay, that’s probably a bit unfair of me, given that you can’t reply. I’m writing it sitting on the new steps in my bedroom. The past few weeks I’ve been using a turned over crate to get from one room to the other, so you can imagine how excited I am to finally have proper steps. And I thought I would christen them by writing today’s Top 5 Wednesday post. Continue reading “Top 5 Wednesday- My Favourite Jokesters”

Review: A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray

So, this series has been sitting on my shelf for over a year now, and my best friend has been telling me to pick it up for even longer. So when I finally decided to give this book a try, I knew nothing about it and had no expectations whatsoever, I just wanted to be able to talk to my friend about it. I am SO glad I decided to read this book though. It’s not like anything I’ve ever read before in terms of the idea behind the story, and it was a lot of fun. I flew through it because I constantly wanted to see what was happening and where the main character was going to go next. Continue reading “Review: A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray”

February Favourites

Helloooooooo! Welcome back to another favourites post! (Not going to lie, I almost just wrote video, because I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube lately, but thank god you guys don’t actually have to watch and hear me talk about all this stuff). Anyway, rambling aside, I normally have quite a bit of variety in my favourites posts, but I suspect this one will be very limited to food, music and movies, so click out of this post now if you don’t like those things. I read quite a few LGBTQ+ books last year, but I definitely want to try and read more this year, as well as reading more own voices novels. Top 5 Wednesday January 3rd- My 2018 Reading Goals

Hello! Happy New Year! * Runs around backyard with a sparkler in my hand because fireworks terrify me too much*. It’s been a while and I feel super bad about that. But you know that moment when you say you’re going to be super organised around the month of Christmas, and then you get to it, and it all goes to hell, and suddenly you’re staying up till 1am Christmas Eve wrapping presents because that organisation thing went so well? Yeah, that’s why I haven’t blogged much this past month. I have been exhausted and busy, but it’s January now, I’m on break and it’s the New Year, which is a time for starting fresh. Book Characters I Want to Be for Halloween

I don’t know about you, but there are just so many characters that I want to make a costume for and dress up as. But the problem is finding a place and time to dress up, because it isn’t exactly something you can do on a daily basis (if only society were that amazing), which is why Halloween is so great, because it gives you an excuse to do just that! I have a list of characters I want to dress up as long enough to fill several lifetimes, but I thought today I would share some of the ones I would like to be within the next couple of years for Halloween if the opportunity arises.
